This property in Newcastle needed some maintenance work to the front elevation.
Work included a replacement lintel above the lounge window and the repointing of the front elevation.
This property in Newcastle had an upgrade to the existing ground floor cloakroom. Work included boxing in of the meters a new toilet and basin and alterations to the heating. The customer chose to complete the decoration and finishing touches themselves.
A private homeowner contacted us for some alterations to his existing bathroom. After the initial consultation and a second prestart visit it was determined a wet-room adaptation was going to be the best solution in providing future proof living. The work consisted of a new electric shower, tray former, wetroom flooring, all new dri-lining and plastering including the ceiling. Lighting, extractor fan, decorating, tiling and plumbing.
After completing a boiler installation a few years previous, we were contacted by the customer to help them with ideas on how to improve an area of their home which was currently un-used. The extension had been done prior to them purchasing the property and wasn’t to the best standard. After some discussions and consultation with the homeowner is a plan was drafted and a price given in writing. The work began by removing the old doorway into the room and opening it up with the installation of some steel work, calculated by the structural engineers. We then altered the external walls and installed a new window. The complete room received new plaster work. The lighting and socket wiring was renewed. A new wooden floor was laid to match the dining area and some alterations to the adjoining kitchen wall made the space much more user friendly. All works were inspected by CPR building control and the necessary certificates issued
This bathroom refurbishment consisted of the moving of the gas boiler into the loft. At the same time we installed a new loft ladder, boarded the loft and fitted a light. The filling loop and pressure gauge for the boiler were conveniently fitted into the vanity unit cupboard, to prevent the need to gain access to the loft. All of the old plaster work was removed, the soil stack was altered outside. A new extract fan and down lights were installed. The walls and floor were tiled and the new sanitary ware fitted.
