PROJECTS APR - JUN 2019

Working along side Unitas for Stoke-On-Trent City Council saw us under take a small civils project a the Principle Contractor over at PortVale Court in Burslem. Working alongside the Councils structural engineers saw us raking out and installing helicoil tie bars with resin reinforcement. The pointing of the damaged sections of the wall and vegetation removal. The ground was then excavated and 2 concrete reinforced pads installed to the ground to support the steel support structure.

One of our own developments and with the weather picking up it seemed only right to move on with the externals. The work involved completing of the new under ground drainage, water main and incoming gas supply relocation. The rear garden was levelled, and a path installed to the side of the property. Whilst in the rear a lovely modern and classy sand stone patio area was created.

Whilst on the inside it was time to start turning the bare walls into rooms and the walls were plastered so the other trades could then follow on.

This project consisted of the removal of the old kitchen, followed by damp injecting the external walls due to rising damp issues. The external render was also replaced to the effected area.

The new Howdens Kitchen was installed along with the associated wall tiles, wall papered walls and vinyl floor. Creating a light and airy modern kitchen.

The modernising of this families bathroom saw the removal of the existing bath and ware, followed by the plastering and tiling of the walls with a large shower enclosure, vanity units and modern flooring to create this modern and elegant shower room.

A new customer contacted us about some alterations to their property. The work involved installing a lintel to move the lounge door way. The plastering of the lounge and hallway, followed by the replacement of the stair balustrade and spindles. This time going for a lovely solid oak hand rail, posts and spindles. Adding a real touch of class to this lovely property.
